Skim Plastering Ceiling

Perfect Plastering skim plastered over the old popcorn Artex ceiling in my lounge (which had a patch repair visible). The ceiling is now perfectly smooth and looks lovely. Lee and Adam were polite, helpful and got on with the work without any fuss. The job was also competitively priced.

Replastering ceilings and walls

Update to Original review: after checking plastering I have noticed that scrim tape texture can be seen in corners (hopefully 2 layers of plaster was used). And it is not as smooth as it could be, it needed sanding before painting which we didn't have time to do. Ceiling edges are also not straight. They also didn't take plastering rubble rubbish with them, which was very heavy for us to dispose of. However, they were polite, reasonably priced, helpful and efficient.

We discovered some blown plaster while redecorating and needed it fixed asap. Lee went out of his way to get the job done quickly and professionally finished and for a fair price. I'd have no hesitation in recommending him and will be using his services in the future.

Plastered artex ceiling and walls

Both of the lads plastered 3 bedrooms, hallway ceiling and bathroom ceiling including cupboards. After speaking to multiple plasterers, giving ridiculous quotes, Lee was the one we went for as he provided a reasonable quote without compromising on quality. They were polite, quick and efficient. Lee said if there were any issues to give him a call. Would definitely be going back to them again for any more plastering jobs!!

Minor / Small damage to a Ceiling

A small part of a bedroom ceiling needed repairing due to minor water damage. I researched how to do it but decided, as I had no experience, to get Perfect Plastering. I advised the plasterer what needed doing and even said how it could be done as I did not want or need a whole new ceiling. The repair work is visually worse than the damage itself. I had a split between two boards and a tiny crack. I now have a 20cm strip, no pattern, no blending and a bulge through the entire ceiling. It is a terrible job and I don't want it re-done. We agreed on a partial refund but he did not come back.

Amazing repair job to a collapsed ceiling.

We had a leak from our bathroom and it made part of our hallway ceiling collapse. I searched for plasterers in the area and saw that Lee and Perfect Plastering had great reviews. He was friendly and prompt with coming round to have a look. The quote was extremely reasonable. He did an excellent job repairing the ceiling and by the time he left you wouldn't have known he'd been there. Super reliable and tidy. Removed old ceiling and and put new plasterboard up and then plastered ceiling and damaged walls

I wanted to write a review as I nearly didn't pick Lee due to 1 bad review but after seeing it was only 1 out of so many I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt ! I am so glad I did because the workmanship was outstanding! The finish of the plastering is superb. Lee was easy to contact throughout my decision making and sent a prompt quote shortly after. As people may know getting hold of builders these days is hard work! But Lee was great. Not only was his workmanship superb but so was his cleanliness. I will use Lee again as I have some more work planned in the summer.

Application of K Rend Thin Coat Silicone Render

We found Lee on CheckaTrade, read positive reviews and so we hired him to apply K Rend Thin Coat silicone render to the front of our bungalow. It was agreed that ALL materials used would be K Rend in order to validate the 30 year K Rend warranty. However, we found that the bead and mesh used were not K Rend, and the base coat was extremely badly applied. Pre-application preparation was poor and base coat ended up on window frames, facias and glass. No primer or Thin Coat silicone has been applied thus the job has not been completed and Lee will not commit to finishing the job.
